is a Bangalore-based public charitable trust
Captive elephants have been an integral part of India’s religious culture, but in the past few years, this idea has been exploited more for its commercial value, resulting in horrific training and keeping conditions.
WRRC receives over 100 animals from about 40 species every month and almost an equal number are released back into the wild after treatment.
Your donations go toward the operations of the rehabilitation centre; toward veterinary medicine, animal food, staff salaries, facility maintenance, and for our wildlife advocacy and outreach activities.
